Get to Know the Team Behind a Trusted General Contractor

Since we started, E. L. Crawford Construction, Inc. in St. Joseph, MO has remained as one of the most dependable general contractors in the area. We have a team that has been with the company for many years, and they are eager to take care of our customers and construction needs.

Nodaway Valley Bank started working with E.L. Crawford when we acquired the Blue Valley Federal Savings Bank in Savannah, in 1990. NVB expanded to St. Joseph in 1995 and E.L. Crawford was the successful bidder for the construction of the facility at 4001 N Belt HWY. My father started the Crawford relationship with E.L. and Kelly and I came on board in 1997 and from there we expanded to Riverside Road, and Kelly Crawford continued to build for NVB.

Over the last 20+ years, Kawasaki Motors Mfg. Corp USA has partnered with E.L Crawford on a variety of projects. From large projects, including a 100,000 sq. ft. building addition, and service road with truck entrance, and a guard house, to smaller projects like walkways and roof repairs. They have even been counted on to do emergency repairs from weather damage and helped keep the factory up and running. I know I can trust them to do a quality job at a fair price; no matter the size of the job.

Meet Our Team

Kelly W. Crawford, CEO

Since 1980

Kelly W. Crawford, son of founder Eldon Crawford, began his career as a carpenter in 1980. He now leads his family’s company and a team of committed and loyal employees in a successful, ambitious direction. He graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a degree in Construction Technology, with experience in drafting.

After graduating, he started in the construction field, learning first-hand employee relations. In 1982, he became a superintendent, where he learned more aspects of the construction business. After 10 years in the field, he joined E. L. Crawford Construction, Inc. as a project manager/estimator, working more in-depth with aspects of the construction industry. Kelly currently resides in Savannah, MO with his wife, Kathy.

Eric S. Moore, President

Since 2008

Eric S. Moore has been with E. L. Crawford Construction, Inc. since 2008 and has more than two decades of experience in the construction field. His job expertise includes communication, negotiation, presentations, safety promotion, and teamwork.

He serves as project manager throughout projects and is responsible for job takeoffs, pricing, bidding, submittals, transmittals, project proposals, change orders, and coordination of materials for projects.

He also coordinates owner change requests with project architects and sub-contractors, in order to expedite their scope of work pertaining to the projects. Eric resides in Savannah, MO with his wife, Kodi, and their two children.

Wade Harms, Vice President

Since 2016

Wade Harms has been with E. L. Crawford Construction, Inc. since early 2016. His experience in the construction industry includes being a union carpenter/foreman for eight years and a project manager for two. He graduated from Missouri Western State University with a B.S. in Construction Engineering Technology.

Wade serves as a project manager throughout multiple projects. He is responsible for estimating, bidding, material takeoffs, transmittals, change orders, project coordination, and manpower. Wade resides in Weatherby, MO with his wife, Carrie, and their three children.

Casey Lance,
Project Manager/Estimator

Since 2010

Casey Lance has been employed with E.L. Crawford since 2010 and has been a Superintendent since 2012. He has served as lead on multiple projects and brings expertise to his job as Project Manager.

Casey is responsible for company safety, estimating, bidding, material takeoff, transmittals, change orders, project coordination, and manpower. He resides in Savannah with his wife, Ashley and their 3 boys.

Kim Kelley, Controller

Since 2004

Kim Kelley has been employed with E. L. Crawford Construction, Inc. since 2004. She has more than 20 years of experience in the accounting field. She graduated from Missouri Western State University with a B.S. in Accounting.

Her direct responsibilities are payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial statements, bank reconciliations, and more. She resides in St. Joseph, MO with her husband, Brett, and their three children.
