E.L. Crawford Construction, Inc. of Saint Joseph Names New Vice President
46-Year-Old Construction Company Renews Commitment to its Legacy
SAINT JOSEPH: Dec. 23, 2019 – Since 1973, E.L. Crawford Construction, Inc. has completed projects in Northwest Missouri, including the $7.5 million renovation of Spratt Stadium at Missouri Western State University and Remington Nature Center on the Missouri River.
Recent projects also include the development of Mozingo Conference Center in Maryville, MO as well as the $21M Hughes Field House at Northwest Missouri State University. E.L. Crawford Construction, Inc. stamp of quality is all over the region.
Continuing its unprecedented growth, the company announced today it will name Wade Harms of Weatherby, MO as the new Vice President. After his high school graduation in 1997, Wade began his construction career working for a custom home builder while attending Missouri Western State University where he obtained his degree in Construction Engineering Technology. Since that time, he spent years developing his craft in the St. Joseph market as a field carpenter/millwright.
In his new role as Vice President of E.L. Crawford Construction, Inc., Wade will help assist the day to day operations, which include contracts, project estimating, negotiations, manpower, and leadership of their now 12-member team. Wade has been a proud member of Carpenters Union Local 110 since 2007. He is married to Carrie Harms of Weatherby, MO and has 3 children, Jace (12), Carter (10), and Avery (6).
“When Wade joined us 3 years ago it was always our intent to promote him to Vice President someday. Because of Wade’s great performance with the company as Project Manager and Estimator, we have moved up the timeline. Wade’s field experience and college degree have given him the tools to become a successful project manager and a great leader. Wade has maintained our current clients as well as bringing in new clients.”
-Kelly W. Crawford, CEO
“Wade has been a great addition to our company. His field experience has been one of his greatest assets to becoming a great project manager. I look forward to our company’s continued growth and success with this addition.”
-Eric S. Moore, President
